Marc had a 38-year addiction. He suffered from a divorce that took everything he believed in for 20 years. He had been a lineman electrician and a husband and lost all he worked for. His addiction caused him to lose his family, his career, and caused him to trust in no one. He hated himself and had given up on life.

Kelly had lived a life of loss beginning with her mom at age 6. Her drug-dealing step-father raised her in a lifestyle of crime. At 18 years old she began her life of incarceration and lost custody of her children. For the next 20 years it was prison, divorce, addiction, and loss, creating a wall of distrust and dishonesty.

Marc and Kelly met and began living their life together in hell. Drugs, lies, cheating, and pain. On September 22, 2022 they were married, and by December they were preparing for divorce. At the beginning of 2023 Kelly went into Inspiration Ministries but was facing legal issues and ended up in prison. Marc had completed a 30-day program and was accepted into Inspiration in May 2023. The program allowed them to work together in their recovery, they applied themselves to counseling and community, learning how to restore their lives with God and this family in our community. Marc graduated February 10, 2024 and Kelly came home June 13, 2024 into a home with her husband for the first time in her life.

Their marriage is better than they ever imagined. They are best friends again, have a home, jobs, and support everywhere within their community now. They have even been blessed to be invited to celebrate Kelly’s twins’ 6th birthday. They now trust in God, themselves, and others. Their next goal is to become Recovery Coaches and continue to help this program change lives. They are praying others see God in them. And they thank God for delivering them from a life of hell and give Him all the glory and praise.
