I asked God to help me do His will, not mine — and He’s been faithful ever since.”

I started using drugs when I was just 17. It began with pills, but before long, I was using harder stuff. Meth took over my life — it controlled my mind, my choices, everything. I tried to get clean, even went through halfway houses, but I kept slipping back.

Then one day, I overdosed. And honestly… I shouldn’t even be here. But God had other plans. When I woke up, I knew deep down He’d spared me for a reason. That was my wake-up call.

I remember praying, “God, please… I don’t want to live like this anymore. Give me a better life. Help me do Your will, not mine.” And He did. He met me right where I was — broken, lost, and tired — and He started changing my heart.

This is my second time at Inspiration Ministries, and I’ve been sober for 7 months now. I’m so grateful — for this ministry, for another chance, and for the peace I feel today. I’m not looking back anymore.

It’s only because of God’s grace, His mercy, and His love that I’m still standing. He never gave up on me — even when I gave up on myself.
